Instagram on Thursday revealed new designs for its Explore feed that are better tailored to users’ personal preference on the platform.
“When you go to Explore, you’ll now see a newly designed navigation bar, which features shortcuts to IGTV and Shopping followed by topic channels tailored to your interests,” the company said on its blog.
No ad to show here.
This means that IGTV and Shopping tabs are now fixed at the top of your explore feed while other topics you’re interested in, like “humour” and “food”, follow.
Explore and Shopping also have their own updated looks. The former now shows users a “personalised feed” of Instagram TV videos, while the latter opens up into its own explore feed dedicated to shopping.
Users will now see recommended Stories in Explore as well.
“To help people experience the full breadth of interest content on Instagram, the redesigned Explore grid will now feature Stories,” the company explained.
The new Explore is already rolling out to users. The shopping feed will, however, roll out exclusively in the United States.
