Instagram is implementing new ways to tackle how it disables policy-violating accounts, the company revealed on Thursday.
Now, in addition to users who rack up a predetermined number of violations, accounts that constantly break the platform’s rules within a certain period of time will face account deletion as well.

“Similarly to how policies are enforced on Facebook, this change will allow us to enforce our policies more consistently and hold people accountable,” Instagram said on its blog.
With the policy changes, the company will also start notifying users if they are nearing the danger zone with content and their accounts.
“This notification will also offer the opportunity to appeal content deleted,” Instagram also noted.
The new additions join Instagram’s already launched anti-bulling systems, which allows users to “Restrict” hateful users.
The new policies are already in affect.
