Last week Microsoft confused its followers on social media when it seemingly went back to 1985 and announced the upcoming release of Windows 1.0.
On Monday, the mystery was solved after the company revealed a new Windows 1.11 app honouring the release of Stranger Things 3, which is set in the mid 80s.

“Experience 1985 nostalgia with a special edition Windows 10 PC app inspired by Windows 1.0—but one that’s been taken over by the Upside Down from Stranger Things,” Microsoft said on its online store.
The app features puzzles, retro games and throw backs that compliment the latest edition of Stranger Things on Netflix.
“Embrace the 80s and grab your hairspray, because it’s basically the raddest show companion experience ever,” the company teased.
