Google is continuing to move features from the recently dead Trips app to Google Maps, where users can now view their flights, hotel bookings and things to do during their travels.
“Simply tap on the three gray lines at the top left corner of your screen, and then on ‘Your Places’. Then, hit the ‘Reservations’ tab where you’ll see a list of your upcoming trips,” the company explained in a blog post last week.

From there, users can see all their reservations, even if they are offline.
The company is also expanding Live View beyond its Pixel phones and brining it to Maps on Android and iOS, so users can now walk around on foot with live AR guidance to help them get around.
“Arrows and directions are placed in the real world to guide your way,” Google explained.
Travelers can also make use of the “Your Match” feature on Maps to find and book reservations at local restaurants. Maps will also show you which dishes are most popular on the menu.
“If you’ve chosen to turn your Location History setting on, you can now use the updated version of Timeline to easily remember that amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant you dined at or the cute vintage shop you popped into,” Google further noted.
This means you can go back and see which places you visited on your trips.
The company also launched new Search features that will help you compare and book flights and accommodation.
While the Timeline update will roll out on Android, the other new Maps features will be available for both Android and iOS in the coming weeks.
