Netflix on Tuesday released the first, and downright creepy, trailer for upcoming French horror series, Marianne.
“When a novelist realizes her terrifying stories are coming true, she returns to her hometown to face the demons from her past that inspire her writing,” the trailer description reads.

The series follows Emma, the novelist in question, who has been haunted by a vengeful witch named Marianne throughout her life.
A witch, a writer, and a gloomy old town, what more does a good horror need? An even spookier release date, of course.
Marianne will drop on Friday 13 September 2019.
