With Oculus Link, users will be able to connect their Quest headsets to their gaming PCs for VR gaming on the company’s Rift Platform.
“We’ll release the software in beta this November, as an update to our Oculus desktop app, and it will work with most high-quality USB 3 cables,” Facebook noted.
Quest will also feature Hand Tracking, which will allow users to use their hands in VR without the need of “a controller, external sensors, gloves, or a PC” when it rolls out in 2020.
In addition to this, Facebook will also launch a social VR environment called Facebook Horizon next year.
On the platform, users will be able to create and share virtuals worlds, games and communities without the need for coding skills.
Facebook will begin testing Horizon in beta in early 2020.
