Actor and comedian Kevin Hart was on Sunday involved in a car crash that left him and another with “severe back injuries”, a report by CNN has confirmed.
According to an incident report obtained by the publication, Hart’s car rolled down a bank in Calabasas, California after driver Jared Black lost control of the vehicle.

The pair were then taken to a hospital for treatment, while a third passenger was unhurt.
The news got Hart trending on Twitter, with fans offering prayer and support for the comedian’s recovery.

“He’s a human being who stood up to cancel culture and survived. Having faith that he can fight through his major injuries and survive this as well. We have to treat people better, ” said social media activist and doctor, Eugene Gu, MD, referring to controversy surrounding Hart, the Oscars and homophobic tweets he once made.

Despite the “cancel culture” he faced last year, it’s clear that Kevin Hart still has a strong following and many supporters, and they’re all hoping for a quick recovery.
