Spotify launches new playlists for music you repeat, used to love

Spotify is bringing two new playlists to its platform designed to help users keep track of what they currently love listening too, and what they used to love in the past.

The first comes in the form of On Repeat, and curates your most repeated songs in a 30-day period.

“On Repeat auto-updates, so you can be sure everything on there is the most up-to-date account of what you’ve been playing nonstop,” the company said on Tuesday.

The second playlist, Repeat Rewind, lists music that you used to enjoy but don’t listen to anymore.

“It includes tracks that you played over a month ago for you to rediscover,” Spotify explained.

Both playlists are available for free and premium Spotify users.

Earlier this month, the company also launched a new feature that lets users share what they’re listening too on Facebook Stories.

Now you can let your Facebook friends know when Spotify’s Repeat Rewind reminds you of that breakup song you had on repeat a few months ago.
