Internet services provider Supersonic, perhaps better known for its fibre offerings, has today announced new fixed LTE offerings.
The company will initially offer three packages at varying data quantities and prices. MTN will form the backbone of the network.

The cheapest offers users 60GB of anytime data, and 60GB of night-time data. It will be priced at R399 per month. 150GB/150GB will cost users R799 per month. The middle option will give users 100GB/100GB for R599 per month.
Supersonic will also offer these packages SIM-only, or in conjunction with one of four supported routers from ZTE and Huawei.
The Fixed LTE offerings join Supersonic’s Fibre products which launched in August. These start at R599 for 4Mbps upload and upload.
But for those who can’t yet get a fibre connection, the LTE offerings offer a temporary solution.
