Google on Monday revealed new tools for Google Maps that will help users report road accidents and other incidents more efficiently.
“First, we’re adding the ability for people to report crashes, speed traps and traffic slowdowns right from their iPhone,” the company said on its blog.

The feature was previously available exclusively on Android devices.
Additionally, Google is also launching four new road incident categories for users to report on both Android and iOS, namely “construction, lane closures, disabled vehicles, and objects on the road”.
Reporting such incidents can help other Maps users know if and when their trips will be delayed.
According to Google, the new features will begin rolling out in the next week.
The company recently launched a number of accessibility features on Google Maps too, including detailed voice guidance and ridesharing suggestions.
