Instagram on Monday announced the launch of a new test that will allow users to set reminders about upcoming product launches on the platform.
The feature will give brands and creators the opportunity to add “product launch tags” in feed or “product launch stickers” in Stories. When users see the tag or sticker, they can set a reminder to be notified about the product’s launch date.

“We wanted to make it easier for people to discover and follow upcoming product launches from brands and creators they love,” Instagram said on its business blog.
The beta feature is currently being tested by several brands in the United States, including Adidas, H&M, NYX and Levi’s.
Along with the company’s Checkout feature, product launch reminders will soon allow people to do all their shopping via Instagram.
