In a bid to make forwarding emails even simpler, Google on Monday announced that Gmail users can now send emails as attachments from other emails without having to download them.
“Sending emails as attachments allows you to write a summary email message to your recipients, and attach the set of supporting emails that recipients can directly open in their mail client,” the company explained on its G Suite blog.

To access the feature, users can simply drag and drop emails from their inbox into their draft emails.
Additionally, users can also access a “forward as attachment” option in their Gmail menu after selecting relevant emails from their inbox.
“You can attach as many emails as you’d like,” Google also noted, explaining that attached emails become .eml files that will open in separate windows when accessed.
The new feature will roll out gradually over the next two months on all editions of G Suite.
