We’ve got two iPhones at camp Gearburn and both are scratched to hell and back. If only we had the US$650 bulletproof iPhone 4S case, it’d lap up our tears with steel and aluminum joy.

From Japanese developers Marudai comes a case capable of stopping a .50 caliber bullet. But it’s damn heavy and weighs a pocket-bursting 2.1Kg. The site even recommends that “Because of the weight, please call with both hands”.
The lens is made of acrylic and the case is a composite of machine anodized aluminum and plate armour. This is a beast of a case which “small children should not touch”. We love us some danger. The site even says that the case will damage your table, so “Please keep cloth spread”.
The case is screwed open, the iPhone 4S bolted shut inside and presumably, protected forever. Marudai even throws in a free bullet (presumably the shell only) with every order.
Order the case now if you fear a nuclear apocalypse, are part of the mafia or need the toughest goddamn cover in existence.
