It’s Halo 4, and it’s coming 6 November 2012.
Microsoft is calling this “the year’s most anticipated video game release” and for once, it’s hard to argue with the Big M’s marketing speak. Onto the game.

First off, spoiler alert. For the 15 people (mostly likely PS3 fans) who don’t know the ending to Halo 3, Master Chief defeated the Flood and placed himself in a cryogenic state as his ship floated endlessly into the void.
There are no details regarding the plot or gaming gimmicks surrounding Halo 4. Phil Spencer, VP of Microsoft Studious says “We are beginning a new saga with Halo 4 and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of Halo games and experiences.”
Expect a new graphics engine, plus the same level of detail Halo fans have come to love. Halo 3 cemented the Xbox 360 as the premier online gaming console (mostly thanks to tea-bagging) and Halo 4 will nicely round off the circle of life which begun almost a decade ago.
