BlackBerry Playbook gets OS 2.1 update ‘end of May’

BlackBerry PlayBook fans, we know you’re out there (the Gear is one of them) and RIM is still loving you. PlayBook OS 2.1 is coming “end of May” according to a tweet from Michael Clewly, PlayBook product manager:

So in two precious days, the PlayBook’s going to get even better. Clewly promises that he’ll add a blog soon detailing changes to the OS. We’re guessing that it’s going to be even harder to root then before. Roll on end of May.
