iOS 6 Beta 3 is out, and RedSn0w has smashed it wide open. So if you have an Apple Developer account and if you’ve downloaded iOS 6 Beta 3, then why not jailbreak it? The Gear advocates a free and open system, but never at the price of a damaged OS. So as usual, remain cautious and don’t blame us if the shit hits the fan.

So download Redsn0w 0.9.14b2 for Windows for Mac. And heed this handy hint from the jailbreaking community.
The “dev3” version covers today’s 6.0beta3 release (and also adds explicit support for 6.0beta2). Please point redsn0w at the 6.0b3 IPSW in order to jailbreak beta3 and boot tethered. ** You must use “Select IPSW” to point redsn0w at the beta3 IPSW before every tethered “Just boot” **
Here’s how to do it on the iPhone 4 and 3GS. And this is how you do it for the other iDevices.
Sadly/irritatingly it’s a tethered jailbreak. So every time you reset the device, it’s going to need to be re-jailbroken. Also (and in our tests) Cydia is highly unstable and crashes most of the time. Regardless, this jailbreak is meant as a test to feel out the security flaws of iOS 6.
