“Within a week or so”, the Android 4.0.4 update lands for South Africa HTC One X owners. So what’s in store?
There’s Ice Cream Sandwich, an “improved Sense experience” which delivers a map menu function to the recent app key, beefed-up tab management via a dedicated tab switching button, and new features for the camera such as white balance and continuous auto-focus. What else? There’s tweaks to the memory and improved platform stability. Finally, there’s now a single sign-in for Facebook which keeps users social details tied across all applications. Kind of like how iOS 5 does it.
