Nokia and Microsoft are going to be co-hosting an event on 5 September, and based on what the invitations look like, they are going to be unveiling Windows 8 in all its splendour and hopefully a Nokia handset or two to go with it.

In fact, the rumor mill has churned out, via The Verge, two potentially new handsets from Nokia. There are code names for both devices, the high-end device called “Phi” and the mid-range device called “Arrow”. AT&T will be the sole provider of the Phi to begin with. The Phi will most likely feature a curved screen and be the successor to the Lumia 900, possibly with a similar name too. Other reports state that it will come with a 4.7 inch display.
The Arrow will be the available through AT&T and T-Mobile to start. Verizon will have its own version of the Arrow, called the Atlas. September seems to be a busy month for smartphone makers.
