The Sony Xperia “Odin”, scheduled for release in 2013, is set to be Sony’s flagship device for the competitive smartphone market. This news arrives prematurely as Tech Radar reports device details from a leaked User-Agent Profile (UAProf) appearing on numerous blogs. The most important news from the leak is that the “Odin” will run three different models. The difference being each model has been set up to support varying degrees of 4G frequencies. This means each of the three models has been catered to meet zone-specific requirements.

This hints that the “Odin” will be a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S III and iPhone 5. The leak also reports it will operate with Android’s latest offering, JellyBean. As Sony’s flagship, the “Odin” will overtake the recently released Xperia S. As well as soon to be released Xperia T, which has been used as the device of choice for Daniel Craig in the latest James Bond movie, Skyfall. Not to sure how “Q” feels about that? The tech-community will be waiting for more leaks as this device could be a welcome new player in the smartphone mix.
