The Surface Pro will also be available in 128GB form, and both models will include a gaggle of accessories, with a Block technology Surface pen and the ability to run all Windows 7 software and the current Windows 8 apps. Additional accessories such as the Type Cover and Touch Cover will need to be purchased separately at a price of US$130 and US$120 respectively and are available in various colours ranging from red and magenta to cyan.

Microsoft will also double the amount of countries in which Surface Windows RT will be available, with Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland joining the current line-up of Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
