Leaked images from an accessory manufacturer in China, shows the back of a supposedly new iPad model, and has surfaced on 9to5Mac. With rumours flying of a new iPad 5 with 128GB internal memory, could this be the new model?

A China-based iPad accessories maker apparently leaked these images that show the back design of the next 9-inch iPad model and from the onset there is a thinner casing, chamfered edges, and a smaller overall footprint. The design would likely follow in the footsteps of the iPad mini (pictured next to the “new” back design), as the back design is as thin as the mini’s.
From the second picture there is an antenna cut, which could most likely represent the casing being for a LTE model. While rumours go back and forth about the time when the new iPad will be released, it is not surprising then that new-look back-panels would be floating around in China. The start of the season has been slightly quiet on Apple’s side, but rumours persist with a new iPhone 5 S, a budget iPhone and a new iPad mini with retina display.
