GTA V drops two new screenshots, which are essentially blown up art assets from the officially released box art. The new Grand Theft Auto V screens are from the “cash and carry” series or to put it in english, bank robberies. GTA V is set to launch on 17 September 2013 and it’s going to be a massively ambitious project, if the screenshots are videos are anything to go by. Three characters that the player can swap between at any time, a map that is said to be three times bigger than GTA IV’s, underwater sections, there’s too much to deal with. Let these new screenshots massage your eyeballs until the fateful day of release.
Close To Freedom
One of the three characters from GTA V speeds off with a bag ‘o money. From previously-released screenshots, we can see that not only will players be able to explore the ocean from the top, but from under the waters as well.
Safe Driving
This is a very familiar scene, and looks like it was taken straight out of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Speeding along the LA-like water canal was a favorite pastime of many GTA: SA players. It seems that GTA V plans to retain this watery fun park. Memories of crashing a jet into the canal are still strong in many players minds. Will GTA V evoke the same level of gaming nostalgia that GTA: SA is famous for? Our money’s on a strong “yes”.
Gta V Box Art
Here it is: the box art for the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of GTA V. The “cash and carry” art assets have been taken directly from this soon to be iconic box art. GTA V is set to launch on 17 September 2013.
