Carrying around more and more cables, gizmos means finding items can be annoying and tangles are a daily occurrence. Showing they are more than simply a luxury bag maker, Knomo is fixing this and venturing into the electronics market with a battery collaboration (via CasePower) for its forthcoming product “Knomad” — a portable organiser.

Made from cotton canvas with brass fixtures and a raw leather touchpoint trip (no mucky hands to ruin it!) this is one durable bit of kit. Not waterproof but splash-proof for sure – it’s meant to be taken out, used and lusted after by others. Minimalist and hardwearing, the whole thing feels like it has been made with a lot of love.
Design aside, the specs are impressive: Dimensions are: (H18 x W25 x D2 cm – when closed) so it fits an 8″ tablet (read: iPad Mini!), Smartphone pocket, pen, passport, credit and businesscard holder. Useful with or without, the beauty of the Power Sleeve is the ultra thin 5000ma battery which will charge any device that requires a lightning connector or micro-USB charger (approximately 2 1/2 iPhone 5S charges). A really nice touch is the dedicated SD memory card pocket. It’s clearly designed as much for business as it is for travel.
Knomad will be available (From 17 July) in black, sand or olive.
