We’ve seen some stupidly beautiful smartphones this year from the likes of British luxury brand Vertu and BlackBerry‘s Porsche partnership but another marque has joined the fray — Tonino Lamborghini.
Although it might seem like car manufacturers are now getting in on the mobile devices game, Tonino Lamborghini has been around for quite a while. The great Ferruccio Lamborghini — the founder of the bull-inspired car marque — can thank his son for the luxury accessories brand.

Although the company’s latest phone, dubbed the 88 Tauri — won’t cost the same as a Lamborghini with four wheels, it’s sure goes like one.
At US$6000 a pop, you wouldn’t expect anything else, but baked into the glorious handset is a quad-core 2.3GHz SoC (probably of Snapdragon Qualcomm origin), 3GB RAM, 64GB storage space and a 20MP primary and 8MP front-facing camera combo.
In other words, if you want a phone more glamourous than you and your bathroom selfie, this is the device to own.
The phone’s also smothered in a particularly tasteful leather and steel exterior.
Just under 2000 of these devices will be made, so they’re as exclusive as they are expensive. Sales (for those who need a phone as expensive as a small hatch back) will commence in late December, just in time for those post-Christmas sales.
