In case you haven’t heard, there are a good few number of South African based peripheral companies plying their trade on our shores, and kicking ass at that. One of the more South African of the lot is Smaak.

That’s a pretty South African name, right? It crafts gadgets and gizmos that keep you sane in impending times of insanity, including powerbanks, phone covers, nifty little car chargers and the like. We’ve had a go at the company’s peripherals and loved them to bits, and now, it’s your turn.

Here’s how to enter

Smaak is big on you experiencing and capturing heartfelt, memorable and exhilarating moments, so to enter the Smaak Photo Competition all you have to do is post a photograph on Smaak and Gearburn’s Facebook or Twitter pages of you and your friends in the midst of an awesome adventure including the hashtags #GearburnComp and #iSmaakThis.

The best three photographs adhering to the guidelines above will win the three hampers. Please note, the competition is only open to South African residents. If you happen to have more than one awesome image, you’re more than welcome to enter more than once.

The competition will run from 8 June 3pm to 8 July 3pm, with the three winners announced the following day.

Update: We’ve extended the competition for another week. The competition will now close on 15 July 12pm with the winner being announced at 3pm.
