It’s that time of year when Apple talks more about it’s software and services than it does its hardware. It’s WWDC time, and the 2015 edition is being billed as a big one.
The conference, which first kicked off in 1990, wasn’t exactly the most eagerly anticipated show of the tech year. But look at it now. Tim Cook has done a stellar job of opening the show since Stevenotes became yet another memory, but what lies behind the curtain this year?

When Cupertino descends on San Francisco in a few hours the big news will (likely) be about a new music streaming service. Sony Music chief Doug Morris has already spilled the beans, we just don’t have an official name quite as yet. More interestingly, with the latest iPhone leak suggesting a launch date in September, could we hear a few more developments in terms of the new iPhone?
We’re not sure, and that’s what really makes Apple events exciting.
