Sony has announced that it will be offering its upper mid-range, waterproof handset, the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, in a limited edition rose finish for August and September in its celebration of Women’s Month.
The deal will be available at “any Edgars store and you will also receive a R200 Red Square voucher,” the press release notes. To redeem the voucher, users can use the Xperia Lounge app which also plays a part in the company’s reinvigorated MashLab project.

The device itself boasts a rose-coloured finish, which gives the phone a unique and fashionable facade.
While it may look great, Sony has also suggested that all internals and specification have been geared towards obtaining a “an accessible price point” without subtracting from the phone.
We have reached out to Sony for more details regarding price and availability.
Update: Sony Mobile South Africa has noted that it will be prepaid only, and available with MTN at “select Edgars Stores.” Additionally, the handset will retail for R4399.
