Microsoft’s on quite a software run of late. After unveiling versions of its Office platform for the likes of iOS and Android earlier this year, it put the cherry on top with Windows 10 — the OS that was billed to reinvigorate the stagnant Redmond company.
Based on new data, it seems that the latter claim was absolutely accurate.

Windows 10 has been installed on a notable 75-million devices in just under a month since its worldwide launch. That’s insanely impressive, but largely down to the free installation model. To put this number into perspective, according to Ars Technica, Windows 8 was installed on 100-million machines in its first six months. It seems that Windows 10 might achieve this number within another four weeks.
Corporate VP of Windows’ Marketing, Yusuf Mehdi, took to Twitter to convey some of the more interesting numbers associated with the Windows 10 launch.
