The iPad mini 4 was one of the devices launched alongside the iPhone 6S and the iPad Pro, but wasn’t really given much of the spotlight by Tim Cook and company.
Nevertheless, the new 6.1mm thin model is much improved over the iPad mini 3, with a 7.9-inch Retina screen, the Apple A8 CPU, an 8MP rear camera with Full HD video recording, and LTE for cellular models. Apple also claims that the battery in the new tablet should last at least 10 hours.
The iPad mini 4 is one of two other devices announced for South Africa this week, joining the iPhone 6S and the Apple Watch on 23 October.
