We often take it for granted, largely because it powers a vast majority of computer-based systems, from ATMs to your gaming rig. But there’s one important question that often gets brought up by Microsoft fans: what was the best version of Windows outed by the company?

Many would mention Windows XP and Windows 7 as two that stand out, but what about the precursor to all modern Windows systems, Windows 3.1? And more importantly, is new really better than the old in terms of Windows 10?
