Update: Ubisoft has confirmed that the planned closed beta will take place between 28 and 31 January 2016. Xbox One users will get in first, followed by PC and PlayStation 4 a day later. If you don’t happen to have a code, you can also join a waiting list outlined in the aforementioned link.
After a long, long wait, it seems that Ubisoft‘s The Division is just around the corner, and the multiplayer beta even closer.

A UPlay app entry, today spotted by WCCFTech, suggests that the beta’s scheduled for January 2016, or literally just a few days from now.
There was no exact date given, but it does seem that only those who pre-order Ubisoft’s latest title will be able to access the beta, or, according to Gamespot, this Humble Bundle.
The game, taking place is a post-apocalyptic and seriously shabby New York City, tells the story of The Division — a crew of trained professionals tasked with piecing back the pieces of the world after a Black Friday infection practically turns the city into deranged monsters and other nasties.
The game itself will launch officially on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 on 8 March.
