Logitech is on a bit of a roll this month. The company on Friday announced its new G502 Proteus Spectrum gaming mouse, and now, it’s adding a new keyboard to its roster.

It boasts the same switches developed extensively by Logitech, dubbed Romer G, and the same 16.8-million colour RGB effects, but it has a much smaller desk footprint.
“We met with dozens of gamers over the last year and a half and asked them what they wanted in a gaming keyboard,” VR and GM of Logitech gaming division explains in a press release.
“The result is the G810 Orion Spectrum, a clean, sophisticated design that’s focused on delivering pure performance.”
Sophisticated could be seen as over-engineered by some, with double braided cables, three-step angle adjustment, the Romer G switches and extensive lighting profile, but the company’s adamant that this provides an unrivaled gaming experience.
As with all Logitech G hardware, the Logitech Gaming Software can be used to tweak the finer details of the keyboard, including the creation of profiles, lighting and hotkeys. And thankfully, the G810 also features dedicated multimedia keys.
The board will retail for around R3479 and should be available in South Africa Q1 2016.
