Uncharted fans: grab that Nathan Drake pillow and squeeze, because Sony and Naughty Dog have pushed back the launch date of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End yet again.
Initially scheduled to debut late in 2015, the game was given a concrete 26 April release date soon after. Now, you’ll won’t be able to get the game until 10 May.

According to bigwigs, the delay isn’t subject to the game’s lack of polish, but to ensure that there are enough copies to go around. Sony and Naughty Dog clearly believe that the last sequel in the Nathan Drake saga will be a very popular and lucrative one.
“In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time,” Sony Entertainment CEO Shawn Layton noted on the PS Blog.
“We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest,” Layton concludes.
He does reassure fans that the game is “phenomenal” and “worth the wait.” We’ll have to take his word for it for now.
