Want a copy of Uncharted 4 now? Head to the UK

This is if you’re not willing to wait for the official street date, 10 May. It seems like one store got a little overzealous and sold the game early.

According to an article on Videogamer.com, a store by the name of CEX in the UK sold the game for £55 (R1159) to a customer. On the customer’s till slip the words “Pre-Release Media,UK” is printed underneath the game’s title.

The customer, going be the name of Shabz, told Videogamer: “I went in to CEX… to actually buy myself a camera lens and when I went to the counter to purchase the lens I saw behind the shop assistant that there was Uncharted 4 so as a try I said can I also get a copy of Uncharted 4, he just picked it up and rang it through the till. The game cost £55.”

He has said the game runs fine with a few frame-rate drops here and there, even during a large firefight.

So far, the trophies aren’t syncing and the multiplayer option is “greyed out.”

Whether it was an accident or not, CEX and the customer may be in for some heat from Sony.
