It’s time for another Nintendo 3DS firmware update, bringing the operating system up to version 11.0.0-33. Don’t get too excited as it only brings along some stability fixes.
According to Nintendo’s patch notes, this update contains: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”

It might come with new features or a massive overhaul to somehow integrate My Nintendo, but at least the company cares enough to make sure its devices work well.

You won’t be able to access functionality like the eShop until you install the updated software. In order to manually update it, head over to System Settings, then Other Settings, and finally System Update.
The update will be available for all Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo ‘New’ 3DS devices.
The previous system update for South Africa, 10.6.0-31, came out 14 March with the same patch notes.
