PopCap is doing a remarkable job with EA’s sleeper hit of 2016.
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is a great game, with bags of content for players of all skill levels, but the developer has now announced that even more content is heading to PC and consoles as soon as mid-year.

The next free DLC (following March’s pack) will be dubbed Trouble in Zombopolis: Part One and will see a new map added to the game’s Herbal Assault multiplayer mode.

“In the streets of Zombopolis, Dr. Zomboss and the zombies are plotting to build a Mega Zombot that, when charged, may put the fate of plant-kind in grave danger,” the games creative director Justin Wiebe notes in a release.
New characters are also set to arrive, including Toxic Citron and Breakfast Brainz.
“Toxic Citron must emerge from the shadows of toxicity to save the plants from Dr. Zomboss, but before he does that, he must defeat the watchful bacon-caped crusader – Breakfast Brainz.”
New customisation options are also arriving to Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 (1200 of them, in fact), along with a host of character balancing measures and minor tweaks.
