Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) kicked off this evening, and there was plenty of news at the keynote.
However, during the iOS 10 presentation, one interesting feature in a word cloud caught our eye, it must be said…

Yep, if you look at the bottom-right of our admittedly blurry screenshot, you’ll notice that Siri is officially coming to South Africa (as well as Ireland).
The smart voice assistant can technically be accessed in the country, but official support from Apple is always welcome.
A cursory glance of the iOS feature list shows all Siri-related features and their availability by country – South Africa isn’t listed for any of them.
Aside from general commands and queries, Siri delivers sports results, social media integration, restaurant functionality, movie capabilities and calculations/conversion commands.
