Apple’s iPhone 7 event kicks off later today, where the company is expected to be revealing two models.
We’ve already covered the rumoured specifications, but here’s how to follow the event as it happens.

Time and streaming link?
The event takes place at 10am PDT (7pm SAST), with users being advised to visit Apple’s event page for the streaming link.
Got an Apple device?
Those with Apple devices should be able to stream the iPhone 7 event via Apple Safari, but you’ll need an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with iOS 7 or later.
Got an Apple Mac computer? Then you’ll need Safari 6.0.5 on OS X 10.8.5.
Luckily, you can watch the iPhone 7 launch on iOS, Android, Windows and beyond
Own an Apple TV? Then those with a second or third generation device will need to run software 6.2 or later. Those with the fourth-generation Apple TV should be able to stream the event just fine.
Windows or Android?
Those with Windows machines will need Windows 10 and Microsoft’s Edge browser.
Don’t want to use Edge? Well, you’re out of luck, because the likes of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera aren’t compatible with the streaming tech used by Apple.
However, you can also use VLC Media Player with this nifty trick. It will work for both Windows, Android and Linux systems, provided VLC Player is installed. Have a look at the full guide below.

If you’re running a Windows, Android or any other operating system, you’ll need to install a program that supports video streaming files. The program of choice, for us at least, is VLC Media Player (Android, Windows). Read more….
Note: the iPhone 7 event’s URL isn’t yet available, but we’ll be sure to update this piece as soon as it’s available. Below is the iPhone 6S’s streaming link, so it’s worth a shot this time around once more.
