Reports claim that the Chinese company is planning to launch a OnePlus 3T smartphone, effectively being a slightly upgraded version of this year’s OnePlus 3.
The OnePlus 3T will almost certainly be powered by a Snapdragon 821 chip
According to Android Authority, the phone could support Google’s Daydream VR initiative, the same 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display as the previous phone, 64GB of storage and up to 6GB of RAM.
As for pricing, the website pegs the new phone at around US$479, making for a notable increase over the OnePlus 3’s US$399 base price. Then again, the OnePlus 3 base model only had 4GB of RAM.
However, an earlier report from Pocket Now claims the new phone will sport a 2560×1440 LCD screen, 64GB or 128GB storage and a 14 November launch in London.
Whatever the case may be, it’s clear that the next OnePlus won’t be the OnePlus 4. Now, about a sequel to the mid-range OnePlus X…
