What’s the cause of the Galaxy Note 7 fires? Samsung will reveal all on Monday
Samsung issued a recall for the Galaxy Note 7 late last year, after numerous handsets caught fire. The firm then changed battery suppliers, issuing replacement phones as a result. However, the company’s woes weren’t over at all, as these replacement phones caught fire too.
To further add insult to injury, airports around the world banned passengers from taking Note 7s on flights, with photos of airport warning signs going viral.
Samsung will be streaming the press conference on its website on Monday, albeit at 3am SAST.
