Microsoft has announced its latest batch of Games With Gold titles for Xbox One, which are set to rollout from 1 March. Fans of the console may find these offerings a little underwhelming.
First up is Layers of Fear on the Xbox One, which will be available from 1 to 31 March. This title is a “first-person psychedelic horror game with a heavy focus on story and exploration”.

Easily one of the strangest additions to the line-up is Evolve Ultimate Edition, which you can grab from 16 March until 15 April. The four-on-one multiplayer title has been plagued with numerous problems and controversies since before its launch. Maybe this will breathe life into it?
The first Xbox 360 game in the lineup is Borderlands 2. This fan favourite first-person-loot-game will be downloadable from 1 to 15 March, though chances are if you’re a fan of the series then you already own it.
And finally, Heavy Weapon can be downloaded for free from 16 to 31 March. Originally an Xbox Live Arcade title, the game has you blasting your way through a multitude of enemies.
As always, you’ll only be able to take advantage of Game With Gold if you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
