Popular action title Bayonetta made quite the impact upon its PS3 and Xbox 360 launch in 2009. This was followed up by a port and sequel on Nintendo’s ill-fated Wii U.
All the while, PC users were left in the lurch — until now, that is. That’s right, the game has now been released on Steam in the form of Bayonetta Digital Deluxe Edition, with quite a few garnishings in tow.

PlatinumGames promises 60fps gameplay on PC (with the right hardware, of course) at “unlocked HD resolutions”. The studio adds on its website that players with beefy hardware can also play the game at 4K resolution.
In a welcome move, the system requirements in general aren’t stringent either.
For minimum requirements, the studio suggests an Intel Core i3 3220, 4GB of RAM and a Radeon HD6950/GeForce GTX 570 or higher (with 768MB of VRAM or more). As for recommended requirements, you’re looking at an Intel Core i5 4460, 8GB of RAM and a Radeon HD7870/Geforce GTX 760 or better.
Either way, you’ll only need DirectX 9.0c to run the game.
As for a price? Well, you’ll only have to splash out R219 in South Africa — not bad at all.
