Tablet sales may have been declining over the last few years, but that hasn’t stopped the iStore from bringing the refreshed 9.7-inch iPad to South Africa anyway.
The company announced that it would be launching the device in the country on Saturday 8 April, being available in silver, grey and gold.

In terms of upgrades over the last iPad, we’ve got a capable A9 processor that’s not quite as powerful as the newer A9X and A10 chips released by Apple. Otherwise, we’ve got the usual garnishings, such as a 2048×1536 display, 8MP main camera and 1.3MP selfie shooter.
The news also comes after the iStore announced that it would be selling the red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, starting at R13 499. A portion of the proceeds from these sales will be going to the fight against HIV/Aids.
