A sequel to Wolfenstein
Wolfenstein: The New Order was one of the better reboots in recent memory, retaining the spirit of the franchise while introducing a generation of gamers to the series.
Now, we’ve got a sequel in the form of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, set for 27 October 2017. This time, you’ll be sent to Nazi-occupied USA in 1961.
The Evil Within 2
It’s another sequel at Bethesda’s conference, this time, being a follow-up to Shinji Mikami’s The Evil Within.
This time, you’re a detective who has to find his daughter in a nightmarish town, being given the choice between stealth or confronting the baddies head-on.
Fallout 4 and Doom in VR
Conventional wisdom says you don’t really want to play games in VR for a long period of time. But Bethesda has decided to chuck VR at Fallout 4 anyway.
Coming in October to HTC’s Vive, it’s the full game, complete with a VR-enabled VATS targeting system.
Then there’s Doom VFR, coming later this year to Vive and PSVR. This is an all-new experience though, so those wishing for last year’s title to get the treatment will have to wish a while longer.
Skyrim on Switch — with the Master Sword
We have known for a few months now that Skyrim was coming to Nintendo’s handheld hybrid. Now, we’ve got a new trailer for E3.
The firm also revealed that Amiibo functionality would be in play, delivering special treats. In fact, the Master Sword and Link’s Breath of the Wild costume are just two of these treats.
