Life can’t be easy right now for Nintendo’s other handheld consoles. If you’ve forgotten that the Japanese company actually still sells the 3DS and 2DS, don’t worry, we can’t blame you.
But during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct stream, the company announced a Poke Ball-themed Nintendo 2DS that’s easily the coolest paint scheme we’ve seen on the handheld to date.

The news comes after the announcement of Pokemon Ultra Moon and Ultra Sun, with both titles set to debut on 22 September.
If the Poke Ball isn’t quite your thing, another edition features a full-faced Pikachi, complete with beady eyes and rosy cheeks.
Both consoles will debut in Japan on 17 November, but there’s no news of local availability.
