UK brand Wileyfox stood out from the pack thanks to its competitively priced, slick Android handsets. So it’s rather strange to see the firm release a Windows 10 Mobile device, for some reason.
Coming despite the platform’s lack of success and after Microsoft said it wouldn’t deliver major features anymore, the Wileyfox Pro is available for £190 via Amazon (as spotted by ZDNet).

Your cash gets you a Windows 10 Mobile phone with a 720p 5-inch display, a budget-minded quad-core chip and 16GB of expandable storage. As for the camera? A 2MP selfie shooter and an 8MP main camera.
We can think of plenty of better ways to spend £190, such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (review), the Huawei P8 Lite 2017, the Nokia 5 or even the Oukitel K10 000 Pro (review). All of these phones have better specs than the Wileyfox device. Heck, as of publication, even the Wileyfox website doesn’t have info on the phone.
The Wileyfox Pro is scheduled for launch on 4 December, in case you must have a new Windows Phone. For everyone else, have a look at our recommended budget phones here and here.
