The Xbox One’s backwards compatibility feature is super impressive, delivering over 400 compatible Xbox 360 games on the current-generation console.

But Microsoft continues to work with publishers to get more games into the programme, and the most recent additions are pretty notable.

This week, we see Far Cry 2, Sniper Elite V2 and Driver San Francisco making the cut, being compatible whether you have a physical copy or digital download.

Far Cry 2 marked the first time that Ubisoft took over the franchise from Crytek, standing out thanks to its African setting, fire propogation features and constantly respawning guard posts. Sniper Elite V2 was a sequel/remake of the first game, introducing the morbid X-Ray kill camera feature that has since become a fixture in the WW2 series.

Driver San Francisco was the last main title in the Driver series, introducing the ability to seamlessly teleport between cars during the course of a mission.

These aren’t the only recent additions to the backwards compatibility programme, as we also saw titles like cult hit Earth Defense Force 2017, Sonic Adventure 2 and Persona 4 Arena hitting the BC list.
