Popular rocket-building and space-faring title Kerbal Space Program has achieved quite a lot of success since its inception. Heck, you know you’ve done something right when the likes of Elon Musk tweet about it…
Now, almost seven years on from its first public release, the game’s getting an expansion, called Making History, set for a 13 March launch on PC. As the name implies, we’re getting a series of missions inspired by historic events, for starters.

“Now you can spacewalk, pull off a crash landing, and attempt to recreate some of the most memorable moments inspired by historic events. But with our unique Kerbal twist, of course,” read an excerpt of a post on the Kerbal Space Program Steam page.

Another big feature is a mission builder mode, allowing you to craft your own scenarios/challenges and share it with the world.
“You’ll be able to customise your own missions to include launches, landings, rescues, malfunctions, explosions, repairs, and much more. You can set unique victory conditions, add exciting challenges, and place unexpected obstacles to keep other players on their toes as they play through these complex missions.”
Otherwise, players can also expect new parts for their custom rockets, as well as new suits for their Kerbals.
