The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has claimed its place as one of the greatest video games of all time, following its March 2017 launch on Nintendo Switch and Wii U. Now, the Game Developers Choice Awards at GDC 2018 has seen it earn three awards.
The open-world title claimed awards for best audio, best design and game of the year, being the only title to claim three awards on the day. However, Cuphead and developer Studio MDHR claimed two awards for best debut and best visual art. Mobile title Gorogoa also claimed two gongs for best mobile title and innovation.
