This is how much you’ll pay for your kid’s Fitbit Ace in South Africa

The Fitbit Ace, a smart activity wearable for children, is now available in South Africa.

The Alta-like band is built on a smaller frame, and lacks niceties like heart rate tracking, but does includes tools to monitor your kids’ activity. This is notably steps, sleep and active goals.

Fitbit Ace fitness tracker for kids (and parents) debuts for $100

The Fitbit Ace is the company’s latest US$100 smart wearable band for kids age eight and older. It looks a lot like the company’s Alta, but features a smaller build and lacks a few smart features. Read more…

The Ace will also remind kids to move if they’ve been inactive for too long.

For this though, parents will need to fork out R1599 for the wearable.

It’s available in purple and blue.
